Getting Started With Request Modes

We offer multiple request modes to meet your business objectives. Select from Ultimate, Review, or Direct Mode.

Ultimate Mode

Ultimate Mode requests a Net Promoter Score, optional survey response and 1st-party review (testimonial), and a 3rd-party online review on your selected sites to quickly capture complete customer experience data.

Ultimate Mode is a 3-step process for your customer.

  1. Feedback request email is sent and includes a 0-10 Net Promoter Score rating.
  2. Once a rating is selected, a landing page is served that includes up to four optional survey questions and an open text feedback field to generate 1st-party reviews (testimonials).
  3. The customer clicks Send Feedback and is served a final screen based on their NPS rating that includes links to online review sites. If a customer selected a negative rating, they are also provided a Direct Feedback link.

Review Mode

Review Mode requests a Net Promoter Score and a 3rd-party online review on your selected sites to capture ratings and reviews for your business.

Review Mode is a 2-step process for your customer.

  1. Feedback request email is sent and includes a 0-10 Net Promoter Score rating.
  2. Once a rating is selected, a landing page is served based on their NPS rating that includes links to your selected online review sites for your customer to leave a 3rd-party review. If a customer selected a negative rating, they are also provided a Direct Feedback link.

Direct Mode

Direct Mode requests a review or feedback giving customers instant access to your online reputation or feedback process. We recommend only businesses with a known NPS over 80 consider using Direct Mode.

Direct Mode is a 1-step process for your customer.

  1. Feedback request email is sent and includes links to your selected online review sites and a Give Feedback link. You can select to have the Give Feedback link shown above or below the online review links.

Select a Request Mode and Edit Landing Pages

  1. Log in to your GatherUp account.
  2. If you have multiple locations, select the location you would like to select a request mode and edit landing pages for from the Business Dashboard.
  3. From the menu, go to Requests > Request Modes.
  4. Select a mode and use Edit, On/Off toggles, and drop-downs for each step of your selected mode to customize the feedback and review request experience for your customer.
